Do You Need A Clean Up Crew?

CLEAN UPMost of us try to prove ourselves by working extra hard to get ahead. Yet despite our best efforts, the volume of work seems to increase tremendously. Not only do we find we’re not moving ahead, but we’re not even keeping pace! Rather than to go ahead and spend time with friends and family, we use all our time to work, work and work and eventually we develop burnout.

That’s what happened to a friend Samantha. Her job ate up her life and time, to the point where every space in her home was cluttered with unfinished work. Each time her fiancé Jay called, Samantha had to cut the call short, claiming she had “too much work to do.” Her house was such a mess that she couldn’t find her car key every time when it was time to leave. She would yell at her maid and her relatives and this created a stress on the whole family. She would come back from work and try to do her household chores. Work was her main thing that she even forgot to talk and have fun with her friends and family and even Jay too.

So, one day Jay decided to help her make time for her and others. He showed up along with few of her close friends at her door one fine Saturday morning and announced, “We’re the cleanup crew you’ve been trying to call. We’ve come to help you get back your life and enjoy it fully.” What we found was misplaced things. The table all piled with books and papers though there were shelves and cupboards. We made a key holder and placed all the keys at one place. Her telephone placed at a prominent place in the main hall and a comfortable sofa near it so that Samantha could sit and talk to her friends. We created some moving space and clutter cleared.

Truly, they did a fine job that day and even concluded their day with dinner at a fine restaurant. Do you know what they got as fee for this? A promise; a promise from Samantha that she would stop neglecting her love Jay and others and MAKE TIME for real life.

Life is not just work and earn. It’s not living for you alone. You were born into this world for others. Your presence, your love, and your smile are what is expected of you. Give freely your time, for; as you walk down the fairway of life you must smell the roses, for you only get to play one round.

Go on then and make the most of your time for others! If you have someone whom you love and who is cluttered in life, help them by turning into their cleanup crew, isn’t this what love is all about.

Also we women need to learn to take it easy. Everything need not be perfect and its not a sin to ask for help from family and friends.

Nobody needs to ask for help unless they are lonely, friends and family mean help, isnt it? A lot of people need a clean up crew in their offices like me but weel there family cannot help and sometimes I am not sure who is my friend and who is not?

No body will think less of us if we ask for help but people will not know that we require their help unless we communicate.

Ah, this is interesting. I’m learning something. Communication is very important in any relationship. Sometimes love surprises more.
Be the first to show love. There is always people who are devoid of love. What we give is what we get.
