He Looked At MeHE LOOKED AT ME

He looked at me, I cringed from the look.

He came near, I took a step back.

He tried touching me, I tried to avoid.

He looked in my eyes, And could see the naked fear.

He held me in a tight grip, I tried to fight it.

His hands were all over me, I tried pushing him away from me.

He started ripping my clothes, I started shouting for help.

He stuffed my dupatta in my mouth, I kept trying to shout.

He used and abused my bleeding body, I felt my soul being shredded.

He looked at me, I cringed from the look……..

It is painful to even read.

If reading can cause so much pain, then why should we women endure this pain. Isn’t it time to get men to think twice even before looking at us?

I agree with Indrani, it is painful to read and fills me with anger. Seriously, such men should be hanged.

Is hanging enough??? Even the Nithari killer hasn’t been hung till date and he had killed so many little children. Unfortunately in our country rape is something which is very common and is only the girls mistake. I am sure that you to would have cringed at someones look. Its time to make a stand.

this poem is really painful as it truly brings out the helplessness and fear of the victim. it is sick that men seek pleasure by asserting their supremacy in this brutal manner.
