 Oprah Winfrey is known for her successful infotainment show, ‘The Oprah Winfrey Show’. This show is one of the most popular and successful talk shows on American and Indian TV history. She has won multiple American Emmy awards for hosting a winning talk show on TV. The Oprah Winfrey Show is the highest rated talk show in the history of TV.OPRAH WINFREY

This exceptional celebrity is a powerful book critic, a magazine publisher and an Academy Award Winner actress. She is the richest African American of the twentieth century, an only black billionaire for three years and the most philanthropic African American of all times. According to some assessment, Oprah Winfrey is one of the most powerful women in the world.

Most of you will agree with me if I say that she is the most influential women also. She has been credited for creating talk shows that presents a more intimate and confessional form of communication. She revolutionized and popularized the talk show pioneered by Phil Donahue. Her talk shows broke the twentieth century taboos and consented trans-sexual, gays and Trans gender people to enter the mainstream of living in this world. Her talk shows focused on topics like art, literature, spirituality, health and self improvement. She has been criticized for setting free the confession and addicted culture. She is specially admired for overcoming adversities and promoting controversial self help craze. She has become a benefactor to many people.

 Oprah is one of the well paid artists for hosting TV talk shows. She earns more than 220 million dollars a year. But talk shows are not the only way of earning money for Oprah. She has also started a XM Satellite radio show and a daily talk show with Rachel Ray.

Other than talk show fame, Ms. Winfrey is also known for her benevolent and altruistic acts. This philanthropist has built a new school for girls in Africa for 40,000,000 dollars called the Oprah Winfrey Leadership Academy for girls. Other than this, she had helped suffering people whom she had interviewed in her talk shows.

The much loved Oprah has won many Emmy Awards for her hard work in hosting the talk show. She has been loved and admired by people all over the world because she has solved many people’s personal issues and problems, especially problems of health. She has been an eye opener for many people in weight problems and emotional over eating. Her new diet is followed by people all over the world and have happily reduced weight. She has brought out many videos on weight loss and encouragement for daily renewal. In her video she takes behind the scenes of her day-to-day life, giving the camera crew unprecedented access as she shares her most private moments and painful memories.

This incredible woman, Oprah has been an excellent example for people who have dreams of becoming famous from rags to riches. Brought up in Mississippi and a survivor of maltreatment and abuse, Oprah has found success through trial and tribulations. Oprah Winfrey has proved it possible to use the talents not only to get fame and money but also to give and help others find a better life.
